" Pacific Rim" is returning to the Vodafone IMAX cinema, signaling a return to normal life following the past month's bloody events and political turmoil which seemed to have abated in the past week. The Guillermo Del Toro film came out in theaters in Egypt on August 14, now an infamous date associated with the violent dispersal of Brotherhood sit-ins, which resulted in nearly a thousand deaths, and the implementation of a curfew that is only now being eased.
The film had been delayed as the Vodafone IMAX cinema was awaiting approval from Warner Bros. to show the film again, prompting the cinema to screen "Man of Steel" in the meantime.
"Pacific Rim" has been well reviewed and should inspire a decent turnout for its solid cast of Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day and Clifton Collins Jr., the Del Toro name itself, and a storyline involving an epic, civilizational war between humans (operating massive robots) and monster sea creatures.
