Art Syndicates to Meet on Monday to Discuss Amendment proposals

The Union of Art Syndicates, headed by Hani Mehanna, called for a meeting this Monday at 6pm. Khaled Yousef, the representative of the Art Syndicates Union within the Committee of Fifty (the committee responsible for constitutional amendments) will attend the meeting. Said Hegab, the representative of the high cultural council is expected to attend the meeting as well.

Mehana said to that the purpose of this meeting is to agree on the amendment proposals and discuss the place of art in the new constitution. He also pointed out that the three art syndicates will be represented in the meeting.

Musician Hani Mehana confirmed that many artists have been invited to the meeting, among them: Mahmoud Abd El Aziz, Laila Elwei, Mahmoud Hemida, Ezzat Alaily and directors Ali Abd El Khaleq and Magdi Mohamed Alim among many others.
