Philippe Garrel' “La Jalousie” will be screened today among the events of Venice Film Festival in its 70th round. The movie is competing with nineteen other movies on the Golden Lion Award.
The romantic drama is about an unknown theater actor in his thirties, trying to get a role for his girlfriend, also an actor, in a play. He fails to get her a part what complicates their relationship.
In other news and as part of the official contest of Venice Festival, “Sacro Gra” an Italian documentry by the director Gianfranco Rosi is screened. “Sacro Gra” tells the story of some regular people from Rome in which the director spent three years collecting those stories.
