"Fawq Al Astoh" to be screened in Venice Film Festival Today

On the second to last day of one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world, the Algerian movie "Fawq Al Astoh" (On The Roofs) is being screened at the Venice Film Festival. The movie is directed by Merzak Allouache, and is competing for the Golden Lion Award.

In his movie, the only Arab movie included in the official contest, Allouache follows the stories of five people that intersect at certain points in the film.

The festival started on August 28th, screening "Gravity" at the opening, and will finish tomorrow with the documentary "Amazonia"
