Patrick Stewart Married, Ian McKellen Officiated the Ceremony

Forget the New York Times wedding section. These days, all you need for a marriage announcement is Twitter. "Star Trek" legend Sir Patrick Stewart, 73, confirmed via Twitter that he was "Yes, married" to New York jazz singer Sunny Ozell with an adorable picture of the two of them completely submerged in a colorful ball pit, save for their smiling faces.

The ceremony was officiated by none other than fellow Englishman and beloved Gandalf actor Sir Ian McKellen.

Stewart and Ozell have been together since 2008 when Stewart began performing "Macbeth" at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. The pair lives together now in Brooklyn's coveted Park Slope neighborhood.
