Dina Lohan Charged with Drunk Driving in New York

Dina Lohan, troubled mother of troubled star Lindsay Lohan, was charged with drunk driving this Thursday in New York’s Long Island after troopers stopped her car for exceeding the speed limit. She had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.20 percent; the legal limit is 0.08.

Dina, 50, was brought in to a station (here's the link), charged and then released to a third party hours later. She is due in court on September 24.

News of this incident comes just one mother after her daughter, 27-year-old Lindsay Lohan, completed a 90-day court-ordered rehab stint for alcoholism. Lindsay has been arrested countless times for drunk driving, though is said to be on a good path following rehab and an exclusive docu-series with Oprah Winfrey about her journey to recovery.
