Following Speculation, Britney Spears Confirms Vegas Residency

Britney Spears revealed last Tuesday on ABC’s “Good Morning America” that she will indeed be taking up a two-year residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Her forthcoming gig, “Britney: Piece of Me” will debut on December 27; she’ll be performing three nights a week for the next two years. The show will cover her greatest hits and new releases.

Spears will also be performing on New Years Eve, shortly after her arrival. The once reigning queen of pop will be releasing a new album on December 3rd, a day after her 32nd birthday.
