A misfire, that's how they named it. The beautiful Kerry Washington showed up at the Hollywood event for the upcoming Emmy Awards. A rare misfire though, as Kerry is known for her strong fashion sense.

Daily Mail said that her dress was more appropriate for a “Funky Spring Party,” than a summer Hollywood event. The celebrity website praised how the actress looked “from neck up” as her hair was pulled back showing her flawless skin.

Kerry is at the Emmy Awards this year for her role in the TV show, “The Scandal.” Cameras were deeply interested in Washington's hands, searching for a ring, as reports said she was secretly married from the American football player, Nnamdi Asomugha.
