Alexandria Film Festival Director to Reveal Details About Next Round on Wednesday

Headed by film critic Al.Amir Abaza, the Egyptian Film Critics and Writers association will be holding a press conference next Wednesday at 12:00 pm in the Royal Tulip hotel in Alexandria in the presence of major general Tariq Almahdy, governor of Alexandria, to announce the final preparations for the 29th Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries, which will start on the 9th of next October till the 14th of the same month.

The director of the festival will announce the participating countries in all four competitions, and names of Egyptian, Arab and European artists who will be honored by the festival, and also members of the jury and the main seminars.

It was decided by the festival's management to name the short film prize for this year after the late film critic Rafik El Saban.
