James Franco's "Child of God" Screens at New York Film Festival

Today the 51st New York Film Festival (NYFF) is screening James Franco's “ Child of God.” Writer/producer Vince Jolivette and actor Scott Haze will attend the screening.

Franco's directorial debut is an adaptation of the 1973 Cormac McCarthy novel. Lester, played by Scott Haze, is an unstable man who's evicted from his farm. Retreating to the woods with his gun, he sets up a makeshift home and is soon identified as a threat by local authorities.

Also today at NYFF is the screening of the Romanian movie "When Evening Falls on Bucharest or Metabolism,” the British feature “ About Time” and the Mexican film “Club Sandwich.”
