TheNew York film festival continues it's 51st round today, with severalscreenings including the American film " The Immigrant" directed by James Gray, in its second screening in the festival, after it was screened on the 6th ofOctober.
Joaquin Phoenix stars in "The Immigrant," along with Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Renner. The film is about Bron, who left his homeland Poland and headed to NewYork in search for the American dream, with many obstacles that eventuallystand in his way.
" Abuse of Weakness," starring Isabelle Huppert will also be screened today, alongwith "Bastards" and "Burning Bush". In addition, Englishstar Ralph Fiennes will be honored by the festival.Thefestival has started on the 27th of September and will close on the13th of this month.
