Kardashian Clan News: Kris and Bruce Jenner Split After 22 Years

KrisJenner, mother of Kim Kardashian, confirmed that she was splitting from herhusband of 22 years, once Olympian athlete Bruce Jenner, following months of rumorsof a separation. The two independently released statements yesterday,confirming their break despite mutual respect for one another.

“Theseparation was Kris’ idea. She’s tired of being held down. She wants to date,and she wants to date younger men,” a source told HollywoodLife.com. “Kris andBruce were fighting nonstop and Bruce was tired of Kris treating him like asecond-class citizen.”

BruceJenner told People magazine the split was amicable. "Kris is happy, I'm happy. Nobody is filing for divorce."

Thepair’s foibles could be caught on their family reality TV show, “ Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” in which they are mom and pop to a rowdy and successfulbunch of six children, including star Kim Kardashian. Bruce says he will still appear on the show, though he and Kris will be staying in their separate homes.
