Nicole Kidman Joins Strangerland Cast

Actress Nicole Kidman will be takingthe lead in the upcoming Australian thriller “Strangerland,”which will be directed by Kim Farrant, with Guy Pearce and HugoWeaving co-starring.

The film tracks down the path of amarried couple who are searching for both their teenage kids whosuddenly went missing inside the Australian desert. The script was acollaboration between Michael Kinirons and Fiona Seres.

Kidman's most recent role was that ofGrace Kelly in “ Grace of Monaco,” in which she portrays theAmerican actress after her marriage from Prince Rainier III ofMonaco. Recent reports have mentioned that the film is expected to bereleased next spring, after plans for a limited U.S release nextNovember were canceled.
