Officials from severalgroups including the California Centre for Public Health Advocacyhave collaborated to write a letter in which they have all put theirnames in order to appeal to Perry not to use her popularity topromote a product that “causes disease in your fans”.

Theymentioned a number of health problems resulting from sodaconsumption, and that Perry has to be responsible as “being popularamong children brings with it an enormous responsibility.”
