The 7th Abu Dhabi Film Festival will screen multiple features from around the globe on itsfourth day. The festival is showing the Americanmovie “ Night Moves,” starring Jesse Eisenberg, Dakota Fanning and Peter Sarsgaard. The movie is about three environmentalists who planto explode a dam.
From the other side of the Pacific, thefestival will screen Philippe Garrel's new feature “La Jalousie”( Jealousy), starring his son Louis Garrel.
From the middle east, precisely at theborders of Turkey, Iran and Iraq, the festival shows theIraqi/Kurdish movie “My Sweet Pepper Land,” about a Kurdishindependence war hero that agrees to be stationed in a small valleyat the territorial area where he meets a school teacher, where theyboth represent disrespected law symbols in this lawless territory.
The festival will be also screening theItalian feature “Salvo” and in its New Horizons category isshowing the critically acclaimed American drama “Short Term12.”Also on the festival's fourth day schedule is the Official submissionof Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Oscars 2014 best foreign languagefilm category, “ An Episode in the Life of an Iron Picker.”
The festival is also re-screening theEgyptian movie “ Farsh We Ghatta,” directed by Ahmed Abdallah.
