George Clooney Denies Romance with Tom Cruise's Ex-wife

George Clooney finally broke his silence, and falsified rumorsthat have been recently chasing him after breaking up with girlfriendStacy Keibler, the biggest of which was of a possible relationshipwith Katie Holmes, Tom Cruises's ex-wife, in addition to otherrumors linking Clooney with British barrister Amal Alamuddin andCroatian model Monika Jakisic.

Clooney asked his publicist to respond clearly to what wascirculating in the press about his romantic life and to state thatall of the rumors were made up. Clooney's rep also stated in aninterview with people.com that George “never comments on hisprivate life. But in the interest of stopping the harassment of allthree of these women, he felt he should."

The publicist also stated that Clooney is single and that hedidn't get involved in relationships since he parted ways withStacey, and that the press is making up stories about him and anywoman he is seen with, elaborating that Clooney's relationship withHolmes isn't more than an old friendship, and that he wants “AmalAlamuddin to be able to prosecute cases without being hassled becauseshe had one dinner with George and four others," and that Jakisic isn't his grilfriend yet, but they have become very closelately.
