The screenings ofthe International Women's Film Festival are still running on thefestival's sixth day, showing films made by female directors whotried to express feminine issues, struggles and dreams. Along filmsscreening tonight will be Annemarie Jacir's “ Lamma Shoftak” (WhenI Saw You).
Thefilm's story takes place inpost-Six-DayWar Jordan, as the kid Tariq escapes from his father and runs awaywith his mother to a temporary fugitive camp there, but poor livingforces Tariq to escape once again to join a patriots camp, before hismother finds him again and they both return to Palestine with hopefor a better future.
Inaddition, the festival will screen the Lebanese documentary “74 aRetrieval of Struggle” directed by Rania And Ra'ed Fouad in EwartMemorial Hall. The screening will be followed by a discussion withthe directors. Also screening in Falaky theater are the Danish “ThisLife,” and the Dutch “900 Days” and “Silent City”. Thefestival will conclude this year's edition tomorrow.
