Marrakech Film Festival Opens today with Scorsese and Sharon Stone on the Red Carpet

The 13th Marrakech FilmFestival had its opening night in Friday with many Arabic andInternational stars attending.On top of the big names was theAmerican director Martin Scorsese, who also heads the festival's jurycommittee.

Besides Scorsese the jury consists ofthe Academy Award winner Marion Cotiard, Turkish director Fateh Akin,American actress Patricia Clarkson, Korean director Chan-Wook Parkand Mexican director Amat Escalante among others.The festival honors the Americanactress Sharon Stone this round. Scorsese presented the prize toStone saying that she's a great talented actress, charming, sexy andfearless. Scorsese directed Stone in “ Casino,” back in 1995.

The 13th round of thefestival lasts till the 7th of December.
