European Film Panorama to Screen 'Ship of Theseus' Today

The European Film Panorama will be screening the Indian film ' Ship of Theseus,'directed by Anand Gandhi, in which the youngEgyptian director Aida El Kashefco-stars.

The film follows the life of Aliaa' Kamal (AidaEl Kashef), who undergoes a cornea-transplant surgery and regains her sight,but the problem lies in that she cannot adapt to her new situation. Aida wonthe Afro-Asian Stallion for best actress in the last edition of DubaiInternational Film Festival.

Also today, Galaxy theater will be screening Shifting the Blameby Lars Gunnar Lotz, Blancanievesby Pablo Berger, Quaratetby Dustin Hoffmanand Fruitvale Station by Ryan Coogler.

Plaza theater will be screening the classical Beauty and the Beast by Jean Cocteau, What Richard Did by Leonard Abrahamson, the documentary Forget me Not by David Sieveking, Hide Your Smiling Faces by Daniel Patrick Carbone and Kon Tiki.

Stars theater will be screeningBlancanieves, the Lebanese documentary A World not Ours, the Norweiagn film Reunion,Quartet and the Icelandic The Deep.
