Syrianartist Selim Kalas died Monday morning, aged 77, after suffering a heart attackin the Syrian capital Damascus.
Anumber of reports have stated that the Syrian artist was buried Tuesdayafternoon in the historical "Bab El Saghir" graveyard in the Syrian capital. The news shocked alarge number of fans of the star and his friends in the field, specially as hewas participating in several TV shows in Syria recently.
The Syrian icon who was born in1936 has participated in a large number of the most important Syrian showsthroughout his career, and was mostly known for his comedy roles. He alsoco-starred in several Egyptian films including 'Short w' Fanella w' Kab'(Shorts, a T-shirt and a Cap), The series 'Ibn El Arandaly' (Son of Arandaly), 'Welad el 'Am' (Cousins), and ' Ferqet Nagy A'tallah' (Nagy A'tallah's Squad).
