“Han Gong-ju” Wins Marrakech Festival's Big Prize

Lee Su-jin’s psychological drama “HanGong-ju” won the best film Golden Star at Marrakech’s final awardceremony. The film is the directorial tribute for the young director which Marrakech witnessed its international premiere.

The movie is about a teenage girl HanGong-ju who faces a traumatic experience that forces her to changeschools.

The jury of the 13th editionheaded by Martin Scorsese included big names like Marion Cotillard, Patricia Clarkson, Italian director Paolo Sorrentino and the Koreandirector Chan Wook-Park among other names.
