The tenth Dubai International Film Festival continues its events in the period from 6 to 14 Decemberwith special screenings in several programs.
The “World Cinema” program screens The Secret Life of Walter Mitty today, which was lead and directedby Ben Stiller, and follows a day-dreamer who escapes his anonymouslife by disappearing into a world of fantasies, but wakes up andtries to take action in the real world when his job along with thatof his co-worker are threatened.
In the Muhr Arab competition, thePalestinian film “Stereo” by Rashid Masharawi will be screened,along with the Syrian “Sulam Ila Dimashq” (Stairway to Damascus)by Mohammed Malas. In additon, a special screening for Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom will be held in the presence of members of the castand crew in the “African and Asian Cinema” program.
