Hesham Selim: Egypt is the main issue and not the constitution

The Egyptian actor Hesham Selim said to that the main issue concerning the constitution is aboutEgypt itself and not about the articles included in the draft. Hewondered about the use of the constitution if there is a lack in theresources.

He added that the new articles cannotbe implemented unless the resources are enhanced and people sought towork and produce, noting that if the people wanted better conditions,they have to work.

About the new constitution, Selim saidthat he read some of its articles and that it came better than thesubstituted one in terms of health care and education articles,adding that he will not vote until he's read the full draft. Selimcommented on the protest law saying that it adds nothing new and thatthe Penal Code was already enough.

In other news, he said that he's notparticipating in any new works, justifying that by the conditions thecountry is going through.
