Steve Martin Apologizes Over a Considered Racist Tweet

Steve Martin ( Father of the Bride) usesTwitter to engage with fans. Lately he received a mention from one ofhis 4.5 million followers saying: "Is this how you spelllasonia?"

The 68-year-old replied in what a lotof fans and followers considered as a racist statement by saying: “Itdepends. Are you in an African-American neighborhood or at an Italianrestaurant?"

Martin apologized more than once and hefaced the anger of his fans, he tweeted: “My tweet was highlyinappropriate." and “But again, a second later I realized whatan offensive thing I'd done. Deep bow.”
