“Iron Man 3” Named Highest Grossing Movie in 2013

Robert Downey, Jr's latest superhero,Tony Stark in the third part of “ Iron Man” has been titled thehighest-grossing film of 2013 after collecting $1.2 billion from itsglobal release.

“Iron Man 3” easily topped“ Despicable me 2” which came second with $918.4 million. “ Fast & Furious 6” camethird followed by “ Monsters University”and “ The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” which was only releasedlast month and came fourth and fifth respectively.

The end of the year top ten included“ Gravity,” “ Thor” and “ World War Z.”
