The British Academy for Film and Television Arts, organizers of the annual BAFTA awards have revealed their list of rising star award nominees, which is given to actors and actresses who have “demonstrated exceptional talent” and are “destined to be bright stars in the future of cinema,” the British Academy says.
Léa Seydoux, star of Blue is the Warmest Color by Abdellatif Kechiche was on top of the list of nominees. The film won the prestigious Palme D'or at 2013 Cannes.
Léa competes with Dane DeHaan of The Amazing Spider-man 2, along with Will Poulter ( We're the Millers), in addition to the multi-nominated Lupita Nyong’o from 12 Years a Slave, and George MacKay ( The Boys are Back).
The award winners will be announced in the award ceremony set to take place on the 16th of February.
