Hollywood Stars Meet at People's Choice Awards

The2014 People's Choice Awards ceremony was presented yesterday by Kat Dennings( Thor: The Dark World) and Beth Behrs ( Broke Girls 2) on the Nokia theater in Los Angeles, where the winners ofa public fan vote in 58 categories were announced.

The Favorite Film title went to Iron Man 3, thehighest grossing film of the last year, which also won the Favorite ActionMovie title. Robert Downey Jr. was titled Favorite Action Movie Star for hisrole in the film.

Sandra Bullock was crowned with two titles,sharing one with George Clooney as the Favorite Movie Duo, and fully owning theother as the Favorite Movie Actress. The Heat, in which Bullock starred, wastitled Favorite Comedic Movie.

Johnny Depp won the FavoriteMovie Actor award, while Adam Sandler won the Best Comedic Actor award. Anothertitle was added to Gravity's long list with the Favorite Dramatic Movie award,and Leonardo DiCaprio won the Favorite Dramatic Movie Actor award.

Despicable Me 2 wastitled the Favorite Family Movie, while the Favorite Horror went to Carrie, andthe Favorite Thriller went to Now You See Me. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire wascrowned Favorite End of Year Movie.

Justin Timberlakewas the winner of three awards last night: Favorite Album (for 'The 20/20Experience"), Favorite Male Artist and Favorite R&B Artist, while Britney Spears won Favorite Pop Artist and Taylor Swift won Favorite CountryArtist. One Direction were awarded the Favorite Band, and Katy Perry won twoawards for Favorite Song and Favorite Music Video.
