Chris Hemsworth to Announce Oscar Nominations

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has chosen Thor star Chris Hemsworth,to announce the 86th Oscar awards nominations.

A press conference will be held at the Samuel Goldwyn theater in Beverly Hills, where Hemsworth, accompanied by Cheryl Bonnie, will announce the official nominations on the 16th of January. The award ceremony will take place on the 2nd of March.

The academy has also chosen Ellen Degeneres to host the ceremony.
