“Grace of Monaco” to Open Cannes Film Festival

Olivier Dahan’s new film “ Grace of Monaco” starring Nicole Kidman was chosen as the opening moviefor the French Film Festival, explaining why it was pulled from its originalrelease date in March.

The film portrays a period inactress turned princess Grace Kelly's lifeafter marrying Prince Rainier III (Tim Roth) in 1956. Six years later, amidoccasional difficulties in fulfilling her role, Alfred Hitchcock invited her back toHollywood, to star in Marnie.

Dahan has directed Marion Cotillard to an Oscar with another biopic, “ La Vie en Rose,” he has yetto deliver the final cut now under the stress of Cannes.
