Egyptian Belly Dancer Sama El-Masry to Run in Parliamentary Elections

After her bold statements and otherpolitical comments in her interviews and dancing clips (most of themagainst the brotherhood), she now has a new move. The controversialartist announces that she'll run in next parliamentary elections.It's not just that as she announced she'll run for the Sharquiyahgovernorate, Mursi’s home district.

“I will run the elections and I willhopefully win them so I can show the Brotherhood every day who theyreally are,” El Masrytold the Egyptian daily news website al- Masryal-Youm. She added that “The end of their group will be on myhands.”

El-Masry is advertising for herupcoming TV program that will be aired for the first time on Thursdayon her new channel dubbed “Feloul,” or “Remnants of a collapsedregime.”
