Jennifer Lawrence on David O. Russel's Radar for Mop Inventor

Director David O. Russel ( American Hustle) is planning to rewrite and direct the biopic of Joy Mangano,best known as the inventor of the Mop.

Russel wants Lawrence to play the partof Mangano. This would be the third collaboration between Russel and Lawrence after “ Silver Linings Playbook” and “American Hustle.”

Mangano is a single mother in LongIsland who went on to be a rich celebrity for her inventions,probably none more famous than the mop.

We will see Russel at the Oscars thisyear where his movie “American Hustle” is nominated to tenawards.
