Naomi Watts in Talks to Star in 'The Birds'

Producers of the upcoming film 'The Birds' have announced that there are ongoing negotiations with Naomi Watts to star in the horror classic remake of the film of the same name.

In case Watts is officially on board, she will be playing the role originally played by Tippi Hedren in the Alfred Hitchcock-directed film in 1963.

Watts' latest work was in Diana, in which she played the eponymous late princess.
