Media proprietor and talk show host Oprah Winfrey is selling her Chicago-based “Harpo” studios, famous for housing the production of her successful daytime television show 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' for more than twenty years, since 1990.
The 3.5-acre campus, the working place for 200 people, has been priced at $32 million, in the deal Oprah made with a developer. However, the place will remain intact, and will be leased back to Winfrey for another two years.
In what appears to be closing any remaining ties with the state of Chicago, Winfrey is also selling her house there for $7.5 million.
