Kate Winslet Defends Her Son's Awkward Name

Kate Winslet has defended her choice of her third son's name: Bear Blaze.

During an interview at the Ellen Degeneres Show, Winslet stated that she met her third son's father after a fire broke out at her house, and that fire was the reason why the couple fell in love; hence the name "Blaze."

As for "Bear," this was her other children's choice, as they insisted on taking part of the credits of the new baby's name. Bear is also the name of one of Kate's old friends, one who was "everyone's shoulder to cry on, a big bear hug."
