Angelina Jolie Responds to Rumor of Directing '50 Shades of Grey'

When asked by Entertainment Weekly whether she will be directing the film 50 Shades of Grey, according to a recent rumor, Angelina Jolielaughed.

Jolie said that the status of the information hasn't exceeded being a rumor, and that " After 'I n The Land of Blood and Honey,' if I ever directed again, it would have to be a certain kind of film." However, Jolie is anticipating the upcoming erotic drama, and what its director ( Sam Tylor Johnson) will do with the eponymous novel's adaptation.

In the Land of Blood and Honey was Jolie's directorial debut about a love story in Bosnia, and her second, upcoming feature Unbrokenis based on a true story about an American Olympic champion who was taken hostage by Japan during the Second World War.
