Leonardo DiCaprio Prepares to Star in 'The Revenant'

Digital Spy website has revealed that Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio has signed in to star in the upcoming thriller 'The Revenant', which will be directed by critically acclaimed Mexican director Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu.

The film, which is an adaptation of the novel 'The Revenant: A Novel of Revenge' is set in the 19th century and follows a bear hunter, who gets assaulted and robbed, and left in the woods to die, but he recovers and plans to take revenge from his traitors. Production is set to start next September.

DiCaprio's latest project was the Oscar nominated The Wolf of Wall Street, which was a critical and commercial success.
