George Clooney Engaged to Amal Alamuddin

Though he formerly vowed not to marry again after the end of a four-year marriage to actress Talia Balsam in 1993, while reports confirmed his separation from his latest girlfriend, model Stacy Keibler, it seems that British human rights activist and lawyer of Lebanese descent Amal Alamuddin has changed George Clooney's opinion concerning just that.

Poeple magazine website has mentioned that Hollywood's most celebrated bachelor has become engaged to his girlfriend Amal, after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring while the couple were dining in a Los Angeles restaurant.

According to E! News, when the actor Edward Norton dropped by during the meal the couple told him they were engaged, prompting congratulatory kisses. Clooney's agent, Stan Rosenfield, declined to comment on the reports, saying he did not comment on personal matters – a change from last October, celebrity buffs noted, when Rosenfield said the actor and the lawyer were just friends.
