The 67th Cannes Film Festival kicked off in France this week, bringing together some of the world's biggest names in cinema.
The festival opened with the premiere of the highly debated biopic Grace of Monaco, starring Australian actress Nicole Kidman. Kidman graced the red carpet, along with fellow actors Tim Roth and Parker Posey and the film’s producer, Olivier Dahan. Among the stars was this year’s jury president, Jean Champion and other jury members: Sofia Coppola, Leila Hatami, Carole Bouquet, Jeon Do-yeon, Willem Dafoe, Gael Garcia Bernal, Nicolas Winding Refn and Jia Zhangke.
Other notable guests at the opening festivities included actors Jane Fonda, Zoe Saldana and Blake Lively. The festival will run until May 25.
