Mohamed Assaf Halts Career Due to Gaza Conflict

Palestinian singer Mohamed Assaf has announced yesterday that he is halting his singing activities because of the ongoing aggression and bombardment by the Israeli Defense Forces on the Gaza strip, and in solidarity with his country Palestine and its people against the Israeli occupation.

The young singer wrote on his Facebook official page: “For our proud Gaza, the city which I am honored to be coming from, and for our great martyrs, because my voice cannot warble while my people are under siege..... Long live Palestine and Gaza, blessings upon our martyrs, and victory to the brave people of Palestine”.

Assaf has recently released a music video entitles “Erfaa Rasak Haza Silahak” (Raise Your head That's Your Weapon” in solidarity with the people of Gaza.
