Bassem Youssef Reveals the Truth About his Return

Satirist Bassem Youssef denied that he will appear on Ramez Galal’s show, “Ramez Qersh El Bahr” ( Ramez Shark of the Sea) broadcasted by MBC Egypt, despite what has been recently repeated and discussed in newspapers and on the Internet. Youssef also denied that he would return to screens after Eid El Fitr.

Youssef said on his personal Twitter page: “Rumors such as my appearance on Ramez’s show, or my return to “El Bernameg” after Eid, or negotiations I’ve made with any Arabic or German channel are not true at all. When there is something, we’ll say.”

It is worth mentioning that Bassem Youssef has recently announced the end of his show “Albernameg” ( The Program) in a press conference, thanking the MBC Masr channel that broadcasted the show despite pressures they faced since the show first aired.
