Elissa Stirs Controversy with Instagram Photo

Lebanese singing star Elissa has posted a photo on her Instagram account, in which she appears relaxing in front of a pool in Beirut.

The bikini-wearing diva was faced with a lot of bitter criticism from her fans, although she appears in the picture with her back to the camera. Negative comments saw the photo as overly explicit, specially that this was her first photo with a bikini to go public.

Elissa's latest album “Halet Hob” was released during the last Islamic feast “Eid”, to wide success and acclaim from audience and critics alike throughout the Arab world.
