Watch: Kuwaiti Zohra Alkharjy Cuts Hair in Solidarity With Breast Cancer Patients

Kuwaiti actress and singer Zahra Alkharjy surprised the audience of the Arab Gulf University conference, which took place to discuss the suffering of breast cancer patients, by cutting her hair completely, in solidarity with the aforementioned patients.

Students of the university have organized the conference during October, which is the international breast cancer awareness month, and they chose to host Alkharjy as she herself is a former breast cancer patient.

Alkharjy talked about her experience and her suffering, saying that her faith and perseverance were her only weapons in her battle against cancer, and then she started cutting her hair in front of the audience, saying “Hair falls and grows back, the most important thing is that the patient's psyche has to be optimistic, as leaving negativity behind is the best way out of this.”
