Sherin Abdel Wahab Sentenced to Prison and Fined

Cairo's misdemeanours court has sentenced singer Sherin Abdel Wahab to 6 months in prison and a fine of 2000 EGP, as a response to being accused of public swearing and defamation against actor Sherif Monir.

The incident occurred between the two neighbours, after Sherin threw some of her garbage and broken pieces of marble in front of Monir's house, before verbally assaulting him, which forced Monir to take legal action against her. The Voice jury member was sentenced Monday morning.
