The New York Film Critics Circle have announced their awards for the year 2014, which were topped by Richard Linklater's Boyhood, earning three prizes.
The film that was shot in 12 years, was named 2014's Best Film, with Richard Linklater winning the Best Director award and Patricia Arquette winning Best Supporting Actress.
The award voting took place on Monday, while the awards ceremony is set to take place on the 5th of next January.
