Video: First Trailer For “Ana Masry” Released

Producers of the upcoming film “ Ana Masry” (I'm Egyptian), which is supposed to hit theaters next year, has been released.

The film is a Mohamed Abol Azm production, and is distributed by Masr El Arabeya, and was directed by Karim Ismail.

The film was postponed more than once due to political unrest in Egypt. It is an Egyptian-European co-production, and stars Olympic champion Omar Elghazaly, Tara Emad, Mai Fakhry and Mahmoud El Ayat, and is based on the true life story of Egyptian discus throw champion Omar Elghazaly.

The film's promotional song was released back in 2012, which was sung by Ramy Essam and Mohamed Kilany.
