Poet and lyricist Ayman Bahgat Amar has congratulated his friend, actress and singer May Kassab for her engagement to Electro-Shaabi music star Oka, and promised her that he will write a song for them to sing as a duo in their wedding.

On his Facebook page, Ayman wrote: “Warm congratulations to my sister and long time friend May Kassab for her engagement, your groom is s good guy and I'll write you both a duo song for the wedding. You deserve all the happiness in the world.

The engagement news sparked widespread response from social media users, some of them congratulating the couple, and many others commenting sarcastically, which upset many media stars and figures, including actor Khaled El Sawy and television host Tamer Amin.
