Producer Mohamed El Sobky stated that his film “ Halawet Rouh” (Rouh's Beauty) has failed to meet the expected figures at the Egyptian box office upon its re-release in theaters across the country, after the supreme administrative court decreed a ruling which halts the film's ban issued formerly by the Egyptian prime minister Ibrahim Mehleb.

El Sobky said that the reason for the film's flop was it's leaking over the internet, which made it accessible to millions of its potential audience before its theatrical release. He added that the film has grossed 8 million EGP so far, with over half of them made during the film's first 10-day release, before it was banned in April.

The film stars Haifa Wehbe, Bassem Samra, Mohamed Lotfy and Salah Abdallah, and was written by Ali Elgendy and directed by Sameh Abdel Aziz.
