Al Hosary Mosque's Wall Collapses As Crowds ِJostle Towards Faten Hamama's Casket

Thousands of fans, artists, family members and friends of the late legendary actress Faten Hamama crowded up today in front of Al Hosary mosque in 6th of October city to bid her fareweel, as she died yesterday, aged 84.

The jostling of the crowds wanting to approach the actress's casket caused one of the mosque's walls to collapse. Only a man and a woman were slightly injured.

Hamama suffered a health crisis weeks ago, for which she was moved to Dar Al Fouad hospital to receive treatment, under the supervision of her husband and doctor Mohamed Andel Wahab. A few hours later she was released, but died yesterday at her house.
