Ghassan Matar's Wife Denies Death News

Ghassan Matar's wife has denied news that surfaced the Internet earlier about the actor's death, which were first confirmed by chariman of the actors syndicate Sameh El Sereity during an on-air phone call made by Al-Hayat satellite channel hostess Lobna Assal.

The Palestinian actor's wife confirmed that his condition is now better. He was earlier rushed to a hospital after suffering a heart-attack, and was put on mechanical ventilation.

Matar's daughter had told El Sereity that her father was clinically dead, which made El Sereity spread the news to the media.
