Meet 68th Cannes Film Festival's Opening Ceremony Guests

A few hours from now, the 68th edition of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival will commence, with the screening of Emmanuelle Bercot's “La Tete Haute”.

The festival's red carpet will also welcome brothers Ethan and Joel Cohen as presidents of the official competition's jury, and the rest of the jurors including Jake Gyllenhall, Mexican director Guillermo Del Torro, Spanish actress Rossy De Palma, French actress Sophie Marceau, American actress Sienna Miller and Canadian director Xavier Dolan.

From the Arab world, Lebanese filmmaker Nadine Labaki, Saudi Arabian director Haifaa Al-Mansour will both be members of the Un Certain Regard program's jury. The Mauritanian director Abderrahmane Sissako will head the Cinefondation's competition jury.

Hollywood's ambassadors to the most respected film festival in the world include Lupita Nyongo, Julianne Moore, Natalie Portman and Naomi Watts.

The festival will conclude on the 24th of May, with the projection of Luc Jacquet's documentary “Ice and the Sky”.
